Confirmed Millwall starting XI vs Stoke City – One change from Neil Harris as Williams starts

Neil Harris has made just one change to his Millwall side as they take on Stoke City at The Den in their penultimate home game of the season.

The Lions can all but secure their Championship status with a victory, but Harris is without a host absentees with Shaun Hutchinson, Murray Wallace, Ben Thompson and Tom Bradshaw all unavailable and unlikely to play again this season.

Shaun Williams makes his first appearance since the FA Cup defeat to Brighton & Hove Albion back in March and replaces James Meredith, who drops to the bench.

It means that Shane Ferguson will drop to left-back and looks like Williams will join Ryan Tunnicliffe and Ryan Leonard in a three-man Millwall midfield.

Fred Onyedinma returns to the bench for the first time since Norwich City early last month.

Millwall XI to play Stoke City: Martin, Romeo, Cooper, Pearce, Ferguson, J. Wallace, Tunnicliffe, Williams, Marshall, Leonard, Gregory. Subs: Amos, McLaughlin, Williams, Skalak, Onyedinma, Elliott, Morison.
