Confirmed Millwall lineup to face Brentford: Meredith starts at Neil Harris makes one change

Neil Harris has made just one change to his Millwall side for their London derby against Brentford at The Den.

Murray Wallace and Tom Bradshaw remain long-term absentees for the Lions, whilst Jordan Archer (leg) and Shaun Hutchinson – who has been suffering with illness recently – both miss out.

But James Meredith – who sat out the 1-1 draw with Sheffield United last weekend – replaces Conor McLaughlin as the Millwall boss reverts back to 4-3-3 after switching to a 3-5-2 at Bramall Lane.

Millwall star issues defiant message as Neil Harris' side continue fight for survival

Shane Ferguson starts into a more advanced attacking role on the left, with Jed Wallace starting wide-right and a familiar midfield-trio of Ryan Tunnicliffe and Ryan Leonard just behind Ben Thompson and Lee Gregory.

With Rotherham United – who occupy the final relegation place – Millwall can move five points clear of the danger-zone if they can take maximum points.

Millwall XI to play Brentford (4-3-3): Martin, Romeo, Cooper, Pearce, Meredith, J. Wallace, Tunnicliffe, Leonard, Ferguson, Thompson, Gregory.

Subs: Amos, Meredith, McLaughlin, Williams, O'Brien, Elliott, Morison.
