'Confirmed' - Liverpool fans have Kostas Tsimikas theory ahead of Arsenal match

Liverpool supporters believe Kostas Tsimikas may have dropped a major hint to suggest he will be starting against Arsenal tomorrow afternoon.

The Greek defender started the first two Premier League games of the season for Jurgen Klopp's side due to an Andy Robertson injury, and could now be in line for a ninth appearance of the season on Saturday.

Robertson picked up a hamstring injury on international duty with Scotland on Monday evening and was forced off the pitch in the 79th minute, raising doubts over his availability for this weekend.

Providing an update on the Scotland international at his press conference on Friday afternoon, Klopp refused to rule out the 27-year-old out of the Arsenal game.

"Hendo and Robbo didn’t train with the team yet," said the German. "They did their recovery stuff, rehab stuff and they didn’t train with the team yet.

"It’s pretty close, it will be a late, late decision on that."

Although Klopp has suggested that Robertson could still start for the Reds, Tsimikas may well have given away that he will be occupying the left-back position against Mikel Arteta's side.

Sharing an image of himself taking a corner-kick at Anfield with one hand raised, he added the following description: "Hands up whoever can’t wait for the game tomorrow ! #godsplan #greekscousers #YNWA."

Liverpool fans were quick to notice this post from the former Olympiacos man and believe that this is all the evidence they require to suggest that Tsimikas will be starting.

Many supporters are of the view that a start for Tsimikas would be fully deserved due to Robertson's recent dip in form and having shown his ability whenever featuring for the team this term.

For Klopp, competition for places will be a welcome dilemma as he continues to strive for the highest standards at Anfield.
