Confirmed Crystal Palace team to face Wolves: James McArthur returns after missing Spurs clash

Crystal Palace boss Roy Hodgson has made just one change to his starting line-up for the visit of Wolves this afternoon (Sunday).

James McArthur returns to the starting XI for the game at Selhurst Park, after missing the 4-0 defeat against Tottenham last weekend.

The Scottish midfielder joins Luka Milivojevic and Cheikhou Kouyate in the middle of the park for the Eagles, with Jeffrey Schlupp reverting to the left wing, after playing centrally last weekend at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

Andros Townsend is the man to drop out from the side that faced Spurs last weekend, with the former Tottenham and Newcastle United winger named among the substitutes.

Jordan Ayew once again leads the line for the Eagles, with Christian Benteke again on the bench.

Meanwhile, Hodgson has kept faith with the same back four that started against Spurs, with Mamadou Sakho and Gary Cahill lining up in the centre of the defence, and Joel Ward and Patrick van Aanholt at full-back.

That is despite having James Tomkins, Martin Kelly and Scott Dann all available to him, with two of thoe three named on the bench.

Max Meyer and James McCarthy are also among the substitutes, along with Wayne Hennessey.

Palace starting line-up: Guaita, Ward, Cahill, Sakho, van Aanholt, Milivojevic, Kouyate, McArthur, Schlupp, Zaha, Ayew.

Subs: Hennessey, Kelly, Dann, McCarthy, Meyer, Townsend, Benteke.
