Mamadou Sakho returns for Crystal Palace as Roy Hodgson makes one change to face Bournemouth

Crystal Palace boss Roy Hodgson has made just one change to his Eagles side for the visit of Bournemouth in the Premier League this evening (Tuesday).

The Palace manager has been forced into one change from the 2-0 win at Burnley on Saturday, with Scott Dann unavailable after taking a knock to the ankle in the victory against the Clarets.

He joins central defender Gary Cahill on the injured list, leaving Hodgson with few options at the back for the game against Eddie Howe's Bournemouth side.

As a result, Mamadou Sakho comes in for his first start since September, having been out with a muscle strain in recent weeks.

The Frenchman, who did replace Dann for the final half hour at Turf Moor on Saturday, will partner James Tomkins in the centre of the Palace defence, with the pair reunited in a starting line-up for the first time since February, owing to different injury problems.

With Joel Ward out with a knee injury, Martin Kelly continues at right-back.

Otherwise, Hodgson has kept faith with the side that won in Lancashire, with Jeffrey Schlupp on the bench again, despite coming on as a substitute to net the second goal in Palace's win at the weekend.

He is joined on the bench by Christian Benteke, who celebrates his 29th birthday today (Tuesday).

Here's how Palace line up for the game at Selhurst Park.

Palace: Guaita, van Aanholt, Sakho, Tomkins, Kelly, Milivojevic, Kouyate, McArthur, Zaha, Townsend, Ayew.

Subs: Hennessey, Riedewald, McCarthy, Schlupp, Camarasa, Benteke, Wickham.
