Confirmed Chelsea team vs Real Madrid as Havertz and Gallagher start, Felix and Sterling benched

Frank Lampard has made six changes to the Chelsea side that lost to Brighton as the Blues welcome Real Madrid to Stamford Bridge, The west London side are hoping to overcome a two-goal deficit at Stamford Bridge as Kai Havertz returns to the starting XI having missed the weekend's game with a knee injury.

Reece James, Thiago Silva and Marc Cucurella come into the Chelsea backline as Ben Chilwell and Benoit Badiashile make way. The former is suspended after being sent off in the first leg, while Badiashile is ineligible for the game.

N'Golo Kante also comes into the team having been rested at the weekend, as does Mateo Kovacic as they partner Enzo Fernandez in midfield. Conor Gallagher appears to retain his place after an impressive outing and seems likely to support Havertz in attack as Joao Felix settles for a place on the bench once again.
