Thomas Tuchel has made three changes to his Chelsea side as they take on Burnley in the Premier League at Stamford Bridge.
N'Golo Kante and Ross Barkley both start this afternoon for the Blues in their final game before the international break. For Barkley, it is his first Premier League start for Chelsea since July 2020 in a 3-0 defeat to Sheffield United.
Ruben Loftus-Cheek and Hakim Ziyech are both benched from the midweek victory over Malmo as Tuchel keeps his squad somewhat fresh heading into the international break.
Edouard Mendy starts in goal, which is no surprise.
In front of him is the usual back five, this time comprising of Reece James, Thiago Silva, Andreas Christensen, Antonio Rudiger and Ben Chilwell.
Cesar Azpilicueta returns to the bench having started at Malmo, with James replacing him.
With Kante returning and Loftus-Cheek benched, the French World Cup winner partners Jorginho in the middle of the park. Mateo Kovacic is once again missing through injury.
Up front, Barkley replaces Ziyech in the front three for the home side as he starts alongside Callum Hudson-Odoi and Kai Havertz.
Mason Mount is named among the substitutes with Tuchel saying he could play "some minutes" as he recovers from a wisdom tooth issue which has seen him miss the last two games.
Kovacic, Romelu Lukaku and Timo Werner are absent for the game through injury, as is Marcos Alosno, who suffered an ankle problem in the midweek victory in Sweden.
