Confirmed Chelsea team news: Callum Hudson-Odoi starts as Sarri makes seven changes

Callum Hudson-Odoi will start his first Premier League game for Chelsea this evening as Maurizio Sarri picks him for his starting XI against Brighton and Hove Albion.

The Italian had indicated on Wednesday that the 18-year-old could start today having sat out the win over Cardiff City on the weekend and he has stuck to his word tonight.

There are also recalls for Eden Hazard and N'Golo Kante in the starting XI after they were dropped to the bench by Sarri against Cardiff as a result of their trips with their national teams.

The truth behind Roman Abramovich and the latest rumours over Chelsea owner's exit plans

Emerson comes in for Marcos Alonso who sits out with a hamstring injury, meaning that Kepa is protected by a back four of Emerson, David Luiz, Andreas Christensen and Cesar Azpilicueta.
