Confirmed Brentford team news to face Ipswich as Thomas Frank makes two changes

Brentford make two changes as Josh Dasilva and Moses Odubajo are given starting spots against Ipswich.

Dasilva replaces Kamohelo Mokotjo after the South African was forced off at half-time against Derby on Saturday when he complained of dizziness following a heavy challenge from Bradley Johnson, and he has failed to recover in time for Wednesday evening’s game.

Odubajo meanwhile comes in for Henrik Dalsgaard who is named on the bench

Luke Daniels again deputises for the injured Daniel Bentley while Ezri Konsa, Julian Jeanvier and Mads Bech Sorensen make up the back three.

Dasilva plays alongside Romaine Sawyers in midfield, with Odubajo operating on the right flank and Rico Henry maintaining his place on the left.

That leaves a front three of Said Benrahma, Ollie Watkins and Neal Maupay.

Midfielder Lewis Macleod makes the bench after recovering from a hamstring injury.

Any slim hopes of a play-off spot would surely vanish if the Bees fail to beat the Championship’s bottom side Ipswich.

The Tractor Boys will be relegated this evening if they lose and Reading, Millwall and Wigan all win.

That would see winger Alan Judge, who faces Brentford for the first time since departing in January, return to League 1 for the first time since securing promotion with the Bees in 2014.

Brentford confirmed XI: Daniels, Konsa, Jeanvier, Sorensen, Odubajo, Sawyers, Dasilva, Henry, Watkins, Benrahma, Maupay.

Brentford substitutes: Balcombe, Macleod, Watkins, Oksanen, Canos, Forss, Marcondes.
