After sources reported that popular girl group BLACKPINK’s Lisa has kickstarted shooting for her long-awaited solo music video, only a while ago BLACKPINK’s agency YG Entertainment confirmed to Star News that the rapper is finally ‘preparing to film her music video’.
Previously after the release of the group’s first full-length album ‘THE ALBUM’ last year, the agency had announced that members of the group, Rosé, Lisa and Jisoo would be marking their solo debut.
While it was BLACKPINK’s Jennie first made her solo debut with single ‘SOLO’ in 2018, this year Rosé ticked off the solo project in March with her first single ‘R’. ‘R’ included the title track ‘On The Ground’ with B-side track ‘Gone’.
Now Lisa will become the next one to surprise fans with her upcoming summer single.
Meanwhile, BLACKPINK will be completing 5 years in the industry this August ever since their debut in 2016. The celebrations will include their 4+1 PROJECT as a gift to their fans aka BLINKS who supported them throughout their glorious journey of 5 years.
Reportedly, the debut anniversary project will include five events full of activities.
