Confirmed Arsenal XI vs Wolves as Bukayo Saka starts and Aubameyang in the squad

Bukayo Saka has returned to the Arsenal starting XI as the Gunners face Wolves at Molineux.

The 19-year-old missed the 0-0 draw against Manchester United as a precaution due to a sore hip.

Kieran Tierney was also sidelined for the United game but wasn't deemed fit enough to be included in the travelling party due to a calf injury.

"We don't know yet. Today they haven't been able to train with us yet," manager Mikel Arteta told reporters on Monday.

"I think it will be difficult for them but we're going to try last minute and see how they're feeling."

Thomas Partey and Granit Xhaka continue in midfield, while Nicolas Pepe, Emile Smith Rowe and Saka make up the exciting attack.

Alexandre Lacazette is fully fit for the match despite having to go to hospital for tests following a challenge with United defender Harry Maguire.

There is a return for Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang who has been named among the substitutes following his period in quarantine.

New signing Martin Odegaard is also an option from the bench, while Willian and Gabriel Martinelli make up the strong attacking options Arteta has to choose from.

Arsenal XI: Leno, Bellerin, Holding, Luiz, Cedric, Partey, Xhaka, Pepe, Smith Rowe, Saka, Lacazette.

Subs: Runarsson, Gabriel, Chambers, Elneny, Ceballos, Odegaard, Willian, Martinelli, Aubameyang.
