Confirmed Arsenal XI vs West Brom as Aubameyang and Odegaard start, Ramsdale makes debut

Aaron Ramsdale makes his Arsenal debut against West Brom in the Carabao Cup second round.

The goalkeeper was signed for £24million from Sheffield United to compete with Bernd Leno for the no.1 spot.

Ramsdale is joined in the team by fellow new-boys Nuno Tavares and Martin Odegaard.

Calum Chambers and Rob Holding start in defence, while there is a surprise inclusion for Sead Kolasinac who is heavily linked with Turkish side Fenerbahce.

Gunners boss Mikel Arteta has deployed Mohamed Elneny alongside Granit Xhaka in midfield, while Nicolas Pepe and Bukayo Saka support captain Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang in attack.

Arsenal XI: Ramsdale, Tavares, Chambers, Holding, Kolasinac, Elneny, Xhaka, Odegaard, Pepe, Saka, Aubameyang.
