Confirmed Arsenal XI vs Watford as Nuno Tavares starts but Thomas Partey misses out through injury

Arsenal are without Thomas Partey for their match against Watford.

The Gunners midfielder has a tight groin and will be unavailable for the Premier League clash at Emirates Stadium.

Mikel Arteta has named an unchanged back four from the win over Leicester, with Takehiro Tomiyasu, Ben White, Gabriel and Nuno Tavares all featuring.

Ainsley Maitland-Niles comes in for Partey in midfield, while Sambi Lokonga partners the England international.

Emile Smith Rowe, Bukayo Saka, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Alexandre Lacazette make up the strong attacking quartet, as Arsenal look to go ten games unbeaten in all competitions.

There is space on the bench for Kieran Tierney who has returned from injury, while Martin Odegaard, Gabriel Martinelli and Nicolas Pepe present Arteta with some exciting options to choose from during the game.

Arsenal XI vs Watford: Ramsdale, Tomiyasu, White, Gabriel, Tavares, Maitland-Niles, Lokonga, Smith Rowe, Saka, Aubameyang, Lacazette.

Subs: Leno, Cedric, Holding, Tierney, Elneny, Odegaard, Pepe, Martinelli, Nketiah
