Confirmed Arsenal XI vs Man United: Bukayo Saka and Lucas Torreira start

Unai Emery has named a start to Bukayo Saka at Old Trafford as a reward for the Arsenal youngster's exceptional form in recent weeks.

The 17-year-old has started just one Premier League game so far this season, a 3-2 win over Aston Villa where he was withdrawn at the interval, but performed exceptionally in a Europa League win in Frankfurt.

Calum Chambers also starts at right-back despite the return of Ainsley Maitland-Niles. Meanwhile Rob Holding is left on the bench.

Mesut Ozil, Kieran Tierney and Hector Bellerin did not make the trip to Old Trafford. The latter is still recovering from his ACL injury.

The Gunners travel to Manchester knowing a first win at Old Trafford since 2006 will be enough to take them back into the top Premier League top four.

Victories for Tottenham, Chelsea and outside top four contenders Leicester over the weekend mean Unai Emery's side cannot afford to drop any points as they bid to qualify for the Champions League.

Premier League preview: Manchester United v Arsenal

Speaking in his press conference, Emery said the return of Hector Bellerin, Rob Holding and Kieran Tierney is a huge boost to his side.

"It's amazing news. The Emirates on Tuesday with them was amazing, the reaction for Rob Holding, with Kieran Tierney, with Hector Bellerin playing the first 15 minutes after eight months.

"We can be a better competitive team with them. For us being available with every player is the perfect moment.

"Now we have two injuries, Lacazette and Emile Smith Rowe. Hopefully in a few weeks they can be training with us and available to play. Really we are really happy with Rob Holding, Hector and Kieran."

Confirmed Arsenal XI:  Leno; Chambers, Luiz, Sokratis, Kolasinac; Xhaka, Torreira, Guendouzi; Pepe, Aubameyang, Saka
