Confirmed Arsenal XI vs Dundalk: Smith Rowe starts, Chambers returns

Calum Chambers has been handed his first start in over a year as Arsenal face their final Europa League group game against Dundalk in Ireland.

Chambers ruptured his anterior cruciate ligament in the win over Chelsea last December and had only recently returned to the first team after playing a couple of games for the Under-23s.

He is joined in defence by Cedric Soares, Shkodran Mustafi and Pablo Mari, while Ainsley Maitland-Niles, Mohamed Elneny and Joe Willock make up the midfield.

Emile Smith Rowe is handed his first competitive start of the season while Nicolas Pepe and Eddie Nketiah continue in attack.

The substitutes bench is made up of a mix of youngsters and first team players, including Dani Ceballos, Bukayo Saka and Folarin Balogun. Reiss Nelson and Sead Kolasinac miss out through minor injuries respectively.

Alexandre Lacazette, Granit Xhaka, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, David Luiz, Hector Bellerin and Bernd Leno are all rested ahead of Sunday's match against Burnley.

Arsenal XI vs Dundalk: Runarsson, Cedric, Chambers, Mustafi, Mari, Maitland-Niles, Elneny, Willock, Smith Rowe, Pepe, Nketiah.

Subs: Macey, Hein, Saka, Ceballos, Holding, Balogun, Cottrell, Azeez.
