Confirmed Arsenal XI vs Burnley as Tomiyasu and Smith Rowe start, Lokonga on the bench

Arsenal have made two changes from their Premier League win over Norwich as they face Burnley at Turf Moor.

Gunners boss Mikel Arteta has opted for Thomas Partey in midfield with Emile Smith Rowe also coming into the team for Sambi Lokonga, as Ainsley Maitland-Niles drops to the bench.

Arteta sticks with the back five which kept a clean sheet in the previous Premier League game against Norwich, with Aaron Ramsdale starting in goal and Ben White partnering Gabriel in defence.

Bukayo Saka, Nicolas Pepe and Martin Odegaard make up a strong attacking trio as captain Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang leads the line up top.

The substitutes include Rob Holding who has returned from injury earlier than expected, while Sambi Lokonga and Alexandre Lacazette are also named among the other options.

Arsenal XI: Ramsdale, Tomiyasu, White, Gabriel, Tierney, Partey, Odegaard, Smith Rowe, Saka, Pepe, Aubameyang

Subs: Leno, Holding, Cedric, Tavares, Mari, Maitland-Niles, Lokonga, Lacazette, Martinelli
