Confirmed Arsenal XI vs Bournemouth: Eddie Nketiah, Joe Willock start as Sokratis returns

Eddie Nketiah will make his first start of the season for Arsenal after being named in Mikel Arteta's side to face Bournemouth in the FA Cup fourth round.

The 20-year-old was recalled from his loan at Leeds at the start of the month and so far has been confined to the substitutes bench. He is one of several youngsters brought into the side, alongside Matteo Guendouzi and Joe Willock.

Sokratis has returned to the squad after missing the last two games with illness. David Luiz is suspended but both he and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang will return from their bans for the trip to Burnley on Sunday.

Emiliano Martinez also comes into the side in place of Bernd Leno.

Arteta, who won back-to-back FA Cups with Arsenal in 2014 and 2015, is acutely aware of the value of the competition to a squad that has not won silverware in three years.

"We're going to fight for every competition that we're involved in," he said.

"I know what it means to this club to win that competition and we need to get back winning.

"We need to get back to being up there and having everybody talking about us. We need every competition to try and do that."

Arsenal XI: Martinez; Bellerin, Mustafi, Sokratis, Saka; Guendouzi, Xhaka; Pepe, Willock, Martinelli; Nketiah
