Confirmed Arsenal XI vs Aston Villa: Willian starts ahead of Pepe as Elneny returns

Arsenal have made nine changes from their win against Molde on Thursday for tonight's Premier League clash against Aston Villa, fielding the same starting XI that faced Manchester United last weekend.

The Gunners welcome back Hector Bellerin, Gabriel and Kieran Tierney to the defence, while Thomas Partey continues his solid midfield partnership alongside Mohamed Elneny.

Mikel Arteta had a selection dilemma ahead of the game as to which attacking options he would start. Willian and Nicolas Pepe are both competing for a place in attack but it's the Brazilian who is given another opportunity in the Premier League tonight.

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Alexandre Lacazette return in attack while a man-of-the-match display in midweek is enough for Joe Willock to earn a place among the substitutes.

It's the same team that took to the field at Old Trafford last Sunday as the Gunners claimed a 1-0 win.

Villa make just one change to their starting XI with Trezeguet starting ahead of Bertrand Traore.

Arsenal's shirts for the fixture bear poppies on the front as the game takes place on Remembrance Sunday, and will be put up for auction immediately after the game via matchwornshirt.co.uk, with the proceeds going to The Royal British Legion.

Confirmed Arsenal XI: Leno; Holding, Gabriel, Tierney; Bellerin, Partey, Elneny, Saka; Willian, Lacazette, Aubameyang
