It's not uncommon to see people take selfies in even the most mundane of settings. The power of the selfie is just too strong to resist sometimes.
But actor Ben Yahr recently witnessed a selfie devotee who completely wowed with her next-level confidence while having an impromptu photo session on the New York subway.
Ben then tweeted a video of his fellow unabashed commuter and, in arguably what's the best bit of the story, she saw it and reacted with nothing but good humour.
"This woman giving it ALL to the selfie cam on the train is SENDING ME," Ben wrote, sharing the video.
It took no time at all for Ben's post to get a lot of attention.
One impressed follower responded with: "To have the confidence to do this in front of others is powerful. I could never."
Another added: "I was just like omg I can’t even watch the whole thing. I’d die for that confidence!"
Owing to how viral the tweet went, the commuter in question, Jessica George, eventually found it.
By way of a reply, Jessica played along and included two of the selfies she took in her own tweet , which also went viral.
Adding to his original post, Ben wrote that Jessica "deserves followers, so I'm thrilled to help".
Happily, the whole exchange was largely met with positivity, and Jessica later tweeted:
"I am overwhelmed by the kind words expressed by everyone and I just want to say THANK YOU to all," George tweeted.
"Let's spread this positivity and continue to uplift one another."
