The early days of launching a business can be stressful, expensive and demoralising. None more so than where a startup is involved. Entrepreneurs are typically focused on achieving growth fast, working with ever-evolving technology, and trying to disrupt an established market, or provide a solution to a problem the market doesn’t realise it has yet. All this with investors breathing down your neck.
But you’re not alone. At this event, our panel of startup founders will speak frankly about their experience of working in the midst of this “fail fast, fail often” culture. They will describe how they have overcome challenges, moved on from defeat and why the lessons they have learned have made them better entrepreneurs.
We’ll be encouraging the audience to share their confessions too – when have you felt most tested, and how did you push through? What are you struggling with most right now? What helps you to deal with adversity?
If you run or work for a startup that is less than three years old, join us for an evening of inspirational stories. We will be recording a podcast at the event, which will be published on the Guardian Small Business Network. There will be opportunities for networking afterwards.
