Confederations Cup Football Daily: Tahiti tonked again

Well, the group stages have come to an end, and as James Richardson, Iain Macintosh and Jacob Steinberg confirm in the latest edition of Confederations Cup Football Daily, Tahiti weren't good enough to progress to the semi-finals.

That's because the Iron Warriors were thrashed 8-0 by Uruguay, and Spain saw off Nigeria 3-0. We look back on both games and get a little excited by next week's semis: Spain-Italy and Brazil-Uruguay.

Plus, we analyse the big stink over Gus Poyet's sacking at Brighton. He's probably feeling even more browned off to have found out the news via the medium of Chappers.

We're back on Wednesday night, but don't go missing us. Keep yourselves occupied with a bit of this (and this). If you dare.
