Concert Square as you have never seen it before as Liverpool fans take over city centre

This is Concert Square as you have never seen it before as thousands of Liverpool fans flocked to the city centre ahead of the Champions League final.

Reds' supporters packed out the bars and spilled into the streets - many have been in town since before lunch time - rivaling the scenes coming from Madrid.

The astonishing pictures show a sea of red as fans remained in good spirits before the Tottenham clash in the Spanish capital, singing LFC anthems throughout the day.

Among the fans was bride-to-be Jennifer who told the ECHO she has planned her hen do around the match and had even managed to get a ticket to the Wanda Metropolitano stadium.

But when her fellow hens couldn't get tickets, she gave it up to spend the day celebrating with her friends.

The stunning pictures of Liverpool come after amazing footage from the Fan Zone in Madrid where supporters stretched out across Salvidor Dali Square as far as the eye could see, joining John Power in a spine-tinging rendition of You'll Never Walk Alone.
