'Concerns' over Meghan Markle's secret advisors - and they're planning exciting project

Staff at Buckingham Palace are concerned about Meghan Markle's decision to use a 'secret' team of Hollywood advisors, a royal insider has claimed.

The Duchess of Sussex reportedly has an agent, lawyer and business agent working for her on new projects - including negotiations for her very own children's book.

While palace staff usually deal with everything for members of the Royal Family, Meghan has decided to take extra help "on the quiet", reports the Sun .

The newspaper claims the team's involvement, especially concerning the book, has caused some upset within the walls of Buckingham Palace.

Meghan is said to be receiving advice from Hollywood agent Nick Collins, lawyer Rick Genow and business manager Andrew Meyer.

However the Palace say she has known the team for years and they 'remain friends'.

The Duchess, who welcomed baby Archie Harrison earlier this year, is said to have already finished her children's book.

Proceeds will likely go to charity, and it's expected to be a bestseller around the world.

The insider told the newspaper: "As a full-time member of the Royal Family, it would be the expectation for that type of work to be exclusively handled by palace staff who balance individual desire over what’s right for the wider institution.

"It is clear she is wanting to keep surrounding herself with her Hollywood people. That wasn’t the expectation."

Mr Collins is employed by The Gersh Company, which represents A-list celebrities such as Jamie Foxx - and previously counted the Duchess as one of its clients.

A worker at the firm recently told a business that the agent could reach out to Meghan and also speak on her behalf, the paper claims.

A Buckingham Palace spokesman said: "As has been previously reported, Rick, Andrew and Nick have been legal, financial and business advisers to the Duchess for many years during her career in the US, and remain friends."

A source told the newspaper: "He filters the deals and passes them on to Meghan."
