Concerns growing for Scots teen missing for 3 days as search launched

A desperate search is underway for a missing teenager who vanished three days ago.

Scott Shearer, 17, was last seen at 10.30pm on Saturday, March 12 in North Kessock.

Police are carrying out extensive inquiries with CCTV footage being searched in a bid to trace the teen's whereabouts.

There have been no sightings or contact from him since his disappearance with concerns only mounting.

He tends to visit Inverness and Caithness as he was family and friends in the areas

When last seen, Scott was wearing grey or black coloured jogging trousers, a light red coloured jacket and a baseball cap.

Police have urged anybody who may have seen Scott, or anybody who has any information on his whereabouts, or, if Scott sees his appeal himself, then to contact police.

In the meantime, officers will be continuing with inquires and will continue to speak to his family and friends for any information which could assist them.

Police Scotland can be contacted via 101, quoting incident number 4146 of March 12, 2022.
