Concerns growing for missing teen who vanished from Scots town

Cops have launched an urgent search for a teen who vanished in Ayr yesterday.

Officers say Leslie Ann Rowe, 13, was last seen in Ayr yesterday, Wednesday January 18 at around 5pm.

Leslie Ann, also known as Ash, is described as being 5 foot 1, white skinned, wearing glasses with long dirty blonde hair.

Ash is believed to be wearing a distinctive green hat with frog eyes on it.

Sergeant Roslin Watson said police are 'concerned' for Ash and urged anyone with information to contact police.

She said : “As time goes on, we are growing increasingly concerned for Ash.

"If anybody has seen Ash, or has any information or knowledge as to his whereabouts then please contact us.

“Anyone with information is asked to call Police Scotland via 101, quoting incident number 2016 of 18th January 2023.”
