Concerns growing for missing Scots woman who vanished from Paisley five days ago

Police are appealing for help to find a woman who was last seen in Paisley five days ago.

Officers say Charlene McFadyen’s disappearance is ‘out of character’ and are keen to trace her as soon as possible.

The 40-year-old was last seen in the Bankfoot Road area at around 7.05am on Tuesday, July 27, but she has so far failed to make contact with loved ones.

She is described as 5ft 6in tall, with blue eyes and has greying blonde hair which was previously dyed dark brown.

Charlene may be wearing a green Adidas sports top with black stripes on the sleeves and matching jogging bottoms, or jeans.

Sergeant Gail Fitzpatrick, of Paisley Police Office, said: "We are becoming increasingly concerned for Charlene's welfare and want to trace her as soon as possible.

“This is out of character for Charlene as she normally keeps in contact with her family.

"If you have seen Charlene or have any information on her whereabouts, please contact police.

“Similarly, Charlene, if you are reading this, please let us know that you are safe and well."

Anyone with information is asked to contact Police Scotland on 101, quoting incident 1767 of 30 July 2021.
