Concerns growing for missing Scots man who vanished from Callander

A desperate appeal has been launched to trace a man who disappeared from a Scots town.

Steven Routridge was last seen on Station Road in Callander, Stirlingshire, yesterday afternoon.

The 50-year-old was spotted close to the Dreadnought Hotel at around 1.30pm but hasn't been seen since.

Police in Forth Valley have appealed to the public in their bid to trace him.

Officers are growing "increasingly concerned" for Steven's wellbeing.

He is described as 6ft 4in tall, bald, with a slim build.

Steven is believed to have been wearing a blue sweatshirt and blue trousers when he vanished.

Inspector Phil McIntosh, of Stirling Police Station, said: “Our enquiries are ongoing to trace Steven and we are growingly increasingly concerned for his welfare.

“I would urge anyone who believes they may have seen Steven or who knows of his whereabouts to contact officers as soon as possible.

“Anyone with information which could assist should call 101, quoting reference 2707 of 1 April.
