There's growing concerns for the welfare of a missing Glasgow man following his "out of character" disappearance.
James Halliday, 21, was last seen on Pollokshaws Road in the south side of the city at around 11pm on Monday, March 13. Officers believe that he may have been in the Glasgow city centre area throughout the day and evening the following day.
Cops are appealing for information in their efforts to trace James. He is described as 5ft 6, of slim build with brown hair.
When last seen, James was believed to have been wearing a blue jacket, dark coloured trousers and brown shoes. His worried family and friends are growing concerned for his whereabouts.
Inspector William Campbell said: “It is very out of character for James to not be in touch with his family and friends for this long and they are worried as more time passes.
“We are appealing to members of the public who may have seen James to get in touch as we continue to carry out our enquiries.
“Officers understand that he may have frequented Glasgow city centre on the day and evening of March 14, and we urge anyone who may have had a sighting of him to come forward.
”Please contact police via 101 quoting reference number 1696 of March 14."
