Concerns growing for missing Bradford pensioner who has links to Leeds

*UPDATE - DEREK THISTLEWOOD HAS NOW BEEN FOUND*

Police say they are 'very concerned' for the welfare of an 86-year-old man who has gone missing from his home in Bradford.

Derek Thistlewood was last seen in the Wibsey area of Bradford on Friday morning (July 26).

Mr Thistlewood, who may appear confused, has links to Morley, Leeds.

West Yorkshire Police are urging members of the public to help in the search for the pensioner.

He is described as a white male, 5ft8, medium build with grey hair. He was last seen wearing a brown fleece coat, beige t-shirt, grey trousers and black sandals.

A statement released by West Yorkshire Police reads: "His family and police are very concerned for his welfare.

"Anyone who has seen Mr Thistlewood is asked to contact police using the online options at  www.westyorkshire.police.uk/contact-us  or use the 101 number quoting log 1105 of 26 July."
