Concerns growing for missing Airdrie woman who vanished more than a week ago

UPDATE: JEAN HAS BEEN TRACED.

Police in Airdrie are appealing for help to trace a 34-year-old woman who disappeared more than a week ago.

Jean Hughen was last seen in the Willow Drive area at around 10.35am on Tuesday May 16.

She is described as being around 5ft 6 in height, of slim build, with long brown hair. When last seen she was wearing white ripped jeans, a yellow jumper and white trainers.

Police Scotland said Jean is known to travel within the Lanarkshire and Glasgow areas.

Sergeant Ross Edgar said: “Concerns are growing for Jean as time passes. I am appealing for anyone who has seen Jean or who has any information on her whereabouts to contact us. I would also appeal to Jean herself to get in touch.”

Anyone with any information is asked to contact 101 quoting reference 2433 of 23 May, 2023.
