Concerns grow over young woman who vanished after Christmas

There are growing concerns for a young woman who vanished just a few days after Christmas.

Caitlin Baxendale was last seen in St Philips Avenue, Litherland at around 10pm on Monday, December 28

The 23-year-old from Bootle has still not been traced and today Merseyside Police urged anyone who had seen Caitlin or has any clue to where she might be to come forward.

Police say there are "increasing concerns for Caitlin’s wellbeing".

At the time she vanished, Caitlin, who has shoulder length brown hair and green eyes, was thought to be wearing jeans, boots and either a dark coat with a fur hood or a flowery coat.

A Merseyside Police spokesperson said: "We are today, Monday 18th January, continuing to appeal for help in finding a 23 year-old woman who is missing from home in Bootle.

"Caitlin Baxendale was last seen in St Philips Avenue at 10pm on Monday 28th December.

"There are increasing concerns for Caitlin’s wellbeing."

She is described as a white female, 5ft 2in tall, of medium build.

Caitlin has links to Leeds, West Yorkshire.
