A teen has been missing for five days after disappearing from school, with concerns beginning to grow for the youngster. Police say they are concerned about the welfare of Shreya.
The 15-year-old was last seen leaving her school in West Thornton, Croydon, at around 3pm on February 3. Investigating officers searching for her say the disappearance is ‘out of character’.
The Mirror reports that Shreya is known to frequent both Croydon and Bromley areas. The police are currently appealing for anyone who sees her to share her whereabouts.
An appeal shared on the Met Police's Twitter page read: “Shreya, 15, is missing. Last seen leaving school in West Thornton area of Croydon 15:00hrs on 3 Feb.
"This is out of character & her family and police are concerned for her welfare."
Officials are urging anyone who has seen her or has information on her whereabouts is asked to call 101 ref 23MIS003813.
