She is described as a white female with shoulder length black hair, 5ft 8in tall and is of medium build.

The 48-year-old is also known to frequently travel to Glasgow, Blackpool, Warrington and Runcorn areas and by train.

Merseyside Police is now appealing for help from the public to trace Tammy.

A spokesperson from the force said: "We are increasingly concerned about Tammy’s whereabouts. Anyone who has seen her or has any information is asked to DM @MerPolCC or @missingpeeople on 116 000."
