Concerns grow for missing West Dunbartonshire woman who vanished over a week ago

Cops are re-appealing for help to find a woman who has been for more than a week.

Karen Murphy vanished after she was last spotted on , January 13 at 9pm outside Renton train station in West Dunbartonshire.

Officers from are growing increasingly concerned as she has not been seen or in contact with anyone since January 13.

Karen is described as around with grey/blond hair.

When she was last seen Karen was wearing a khaki parka-style jacket with a fur hood and black trousers.

She has previous connections to Dumbarton and , and the Glasgow City Centre area.

Sergeant Colin MacMillan at Clydebank Police Station said: "Officers are currently carrying out door to door enquires and using specialist units such as the Marine Unit to search for any new information that could help trace Karen.

"I would ask members of the public who were using the roads in and around Renton on , 13 January to check their vehicle dashcam footage for possible sightings.

"I’d also urge anyone who has seen at any time since Monday, 13 January or anyone who knows of her present whereabouts to contact police immediately via telephone number 101, quoting incident number 0058 of 13 January, 2020."
