He is described as 5ft 11, of medium build, with receding white/grey hair.

When last seen he was wearing grey jogging bottoms, a grey woolly jumper, dark coloured jacket and black shoes with a velcro fastening.

Chief Inspector Alan Gray said: “It has now been a week since Charles was last seen and we have been carrying out extensive enquiries to trace him, with the assistance of the public.

“On Sunday, officers engaged with over 40 individuals and families in the local area, and we continue to appeal to anyone who believes they can assist our investigation to please come forward.

“If you have any information or any possible sightings of Charles, please call 101, quoting incident 2961 of 20 February, 2022.”
