Concerns grow for man who suddenly vanished from Paisley sparking frantic police search

Concerns are growing for a man who suddenly vanished from Paisley sparking a frantic police search.

David Clark was last spotted in the Ralston area of Paisley at around 5.30pm on Wednesday, 18 November, 2020.

His family are worried as the 48-year-old has not been in contact which is very out of character for him.

David was in a white Volkswagen UP with the registration SK17 MFA.

Officers from Police Scotland are now desperate to bring him home as they carry out searches in Edinburgh, Paisley, the Milngavie, Knightswood and Kings Park areas.

He is described as white, 6ft 3ins in height and of slim build. He has short, dark-coloured hair with a beard and moustache.

He is also thought to be wearing a black padded gilet and a black beanie hat.

A spokesperson for Police Scotland said: "Enquiries and searches are ongoing to trace David.

"He is known to frequent the Milngavie, Knightswood and Kings Park areas, and he also regularly visits Edinburgh too.

"Officers are becoming increasingly concerned for his wellbeing and safety as it is out of character for him not to keep in touch with his friends and family.

"Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to contact Paisley Police Office through 101 quoting reference number 2135 of 19 November."
