Concerns grow after Paisley pensioner suddenly vanishes sparking frantic police search

Concerns are growing after a Paisley pensioner suddenly vanished sparking a frantic police search.

Robert Young went missing on Saturday afternoon after being spotted in Greenock around 10am.

Cops are now desperately trying to trace the 80-year-old as they worry for his welfare.

Robert is described as about 5ft 7in in height, with short grey/white hair.

He is thought to be wearing jogging bottoms, a purple and pink or salmon Jumper and a fleece.

A spokesperson for Police Scottland said: "Robert was last seen in Greenock around 10am on Sunday, 12 July, 2020 driving a grey Kia Ceed with the registration LG11GXP.

"Anyone with any information or who thinks they may have seen Robert is asked to contact Police Scotland on 101, quoting incident number 1565 of 11 July, 2020."
