Concerns for welfare of missing Canberra woman

Police and family have concerns for the welfare of a missing Canberra woman.

Rachel Develin, 53, has not been seen since 8pm Saturday in Wanniassa.

"She is described as being of Caucasian appearance, about 165cm (5'5") tall, with short brown wiry hair, hazel eyes, and of slight to medium build," police said in a statement.

"Police and Rachel's family hold concerns for her welfare and are requesting the public's assistance in locating Rachel."

She was wearing a dark coloured pants and a red patterned shirt on Saturday evening.

Police ask anyone who might have information that could them find her to contact ACT Policing Operations on 131 444 and quote reference number 6703252.
