Missing Dublin man Brian Joyce located following garda appeal

UPDATE: Brian has been located. Gardai would like to thank the public and the media for their assistance. No further action is required.

The family of a man who's been missing for a week after very concerned for his welfare.

Brian Joyce, 38, was last seen in Cabra on Wednesday 15th January.

He's also known to hang around the Merchant's Quay area and is around 6ft 1.

He's described as being of slim build and has brown hair and blue eyes.

Gardai have made an appeal to anyone who may have information on Brian's whereabouts and have asked them to contact them in Blanchardstown.

A spokeswoman said: "Gardaí in Blanchardstown are seeking the public’s assistance in locating Brian Joyce, 38-years-old, who is missing from the Cabra area, Dublin 7 since Wednesday 15th January, 2020.

"Brian is described as being approximately 6’ 1” in height with a slim build. He has brown hair and blue eyes.

"Brian was last seen on the evening of Wednesday 15th January, 2020 on Faussagh Avenue in Cabra. He is known to frequent the Merchant’s Quay area, Dublin city centre as well as the Faussagh Avenue and greater Cabra areas.

"Gardaí and Brian’s family are concerned for his wellbeing."

Anyone who may have seen Brian or has information on his whereabouts are asked to contact Blanchardstown Garda Station on 01 666 7000, the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111, or any Garda Station.
