Sydney woman Rachel Walker, who was missing for the last week, has been located, NSW Police have confirmed.
There were concerns for the 34-year-old’s welfare after she was last seen in Newtown around midday on Tuesday, May 20 and was not seen or heard from since.
Officers were notified on Sunday, 25 May when the inner western Sydney local still couldn’t be contacted.
Following inquiries into her whereabouts, they confirmed on Tuesday, 27 May that the Sydney local has now been found.

Amid efforts to locate Walker, one of her close friends had explained everyone was “worried sick”.
“It’s not like Rach not to be in contact for this length of time,” she told NewsWire, as she called for anyone with information to contact police as soon as possible.
“Rachel is so loved by so many people. We just want to know she’s OK,” she added.

A number of loved ones also shared posts on social media to spread the word.
“Any friends in Sydney and Australia, please share! Rachel you are so loved, please come home safe,” one person wrote on Facebook.
NSW Police thanked the public and media for their assistance.
