A Derry MLA has raised concerns as a road in the city continues to be plagued by dangerous driving from those being called 'death drivers'.
Sinn Féin MLA Pádraig Delargy has called for a meeting with the PSNI and Roads service over road safety concerns on the Springtown road.
The call comes after previous pleas from the local community for the Department for Infrastructure (DfI) to assess the safety measures in place on the road in Derry.

In March, MyDerry visited the road and Derry City and Strabane District Councillor, Sinn Fein's Conor Heaney said it had become the "epicentre" for death drivers.
He explained how a family with a young child narrowly escaped with their lives when a stolen car smashed into their home in January of this year.
Meanwhile, Mr Delargy said that putting "guardrails" on the road would make people in the area feel "more safe". He added: “Residents on the Springtown road are calling for measures to prevent speeding in their area.
“Previous incidents have occurred on this road too many times. Dangerous driving needs to be stopped and properly enforced against."
"Meanwhile improvements to the road such as putting guardrails in place could help residents feel more safe when using pavements," he continued.
“I have asked for a meeting with DfI Roads service and the PSNI to discuss this issue and to look at how to improve road safety in the area.
A DfI spokesperson told MyDerry : “The need for pedestrian guard railing has been considered however this is normally used in areas with high pedestrian flows and busy traffic conditions, for example outside schools or play parks.
“A meeting is being arranged with elected representatives and others to discuss opportunities for improving safety.”
