Police have launched a search for a missing 69-year-old man from Gateshead.
Officers from Northumbria Police have said they are becoming increasingly concerned for the whereabouts of Fred Bullock.
Fred has not been seen since he left his home in Birtley at 8.30am on Friday.
Police are now appealing to the public for help in finding him and are asking anyone who may have any information to get in touch.
Fred, or anyone who knows his whereabouts, is asked to call Northumbria Police as soon as possible on 101 quoting reference 711 of August 28.
