Concern grows for missing woman, 23, last seen in Hamilton

Police have launched a frantic appeal to trace a missing woman from Lanark.

Shelly Anne Daly was last seen in Hamilton town centre at around 1.30am on Sunday, October 24.

However, the 23-year-old has not returned to her home in the Blackwood area of Lanark as family and friends grow concerned for her whereabouts.

Shelly Anne is described as white, 5ft 4, medium build, and having long fair/blond hair.

She was wearing a red jacket with black collar, carrying a light brown handbag at the time of her disappearance.

Sergeant Jay Cavanagh from Larkhall Police Office says: "It is out of character for Shelley not to be in touch with her family and friends. Both Police and her family are growing concerned for her.

"If anyone has seen Shelley or has any information or knowledge as to her whereabouts then please contact Police as a matter of urgency."

"Anyone with information is asked to contact Police Scotland on 101."
