Concern grows for missing West Lothian teenager who may have travelled to London

Police officers in West Lothian are appealing for the public’s help to trace a teenager reported missing from Whitburn.

Abdul Sarwar (16), who lives in Whitburn, was last seen in Bathgate around 9.30am on Monday.

Abdul is described as an Asian/Pakistani male, 5ft 9in tall, of slim build with medium length dark brown hair and a short black beard. He was last seen wearing a black puffer style jacket, black school trousers and was carrying a black rucksack.

Inspector Kylie Barnard, of Livingston Police Station, said: “We are growingly increasingly concerned for Abdul’s wellbeing and we believe he may have travelled to London by train.

“Anyone who may have seen Abdul, or who has any information on his whereabouts, is urged to contact Police Scotland via 101 quoting incident number 1412 of 6 December.”
