Concern grows for missing 80-year-old Hamilton man last seen two weeks ago

Concern is growing for a missing Hamilton pensioner who hasn't been seen for two weeks.

Brian Porteous, 80, was last seen at his home in Woodburn Court in the Lanarkshire town on Saturday, march 21 around 10am.

Although Brian is aged 80, he looks younger and is mobile for his age, police have said.

He was wearing a dark green hooded coat, navy chino style trousers, a short sleeved white and navy checked shirt and brown suede walking shoes.

Officers are keen to speak to anyone who may know Brian and to find out if he had talked about visiting them recently.

Sergeant Sharon Priestley, of Hamilton Police Station, said: “We are asking anyone who may know something about Brian’s movements in the last couple of weeks to get in touch. He may have talked about going to visit someone or about taking a trip.

“Anyone with information which might help us find Brian should call us on 101, quoting incident 2985 of 21 March.”
