Concern grows for Castle Douglas man missing since September 7

Concern is growing for a missing Castle Douglas man.

Andrew Gardiner was last seen around 11am on Monday, September 7.

A work vehicle used by the 46-year-old was found the same day off the A706 at Heathland Forest in South Lanarkshire. The area was searched and inquiries are ongoing.

Inspector Colin Scott said: “We are concerned for Andrew’s welfare, increasingly so the longer he remains out of contact with his family.

“I would urge anyone who may see him or who has any information about his whereabouts to come forward.

“Anyone with information can call police on 101, quoting incident 2306 of 7 September.”

Andrew is around 6ft 1in tall with short brown hair. He is believed to have been wearing a navy blue polo shirt, black jeans and dark boots.
