Concern growing over the whereabouts of missing West Lothian woman Vineeta Whyte

Police have launched an urgent appeal for a missing West Lothian woman.

Vineeta Anne Whyte was last seen in the Howden area of Livingston before her disappearance at around 2.50pm on Saturday, November 14.

Concerns are growing as the 39-year-old from the Blackburn area has not been seen since.

Officers are urging locals to come forward with any information that may lead to her whereabouts.

She has been described as female, white, 5ft 6ins tall, medium/heavy build, with long black hair.

Vineeta was seen wearing beige lounge trousers and a dark coloured top at the time of her disappearance.

A spokesperson for Police Scotland said: “Anyone who may have seen Vineeta since this time, or who has any information on her whereabouts, is urged to contact Police Scotland via 101 quoting incident number 2368 of 14th November.”
