Concern growing for welfare of missing man James McPhee last seen Friday afternoon

An appeal has been launched to find a 37-year-old man missing from Milton of Campsie since Friday afternoon.

James McPhee was last seen at around 1.30pm on  Friday, February 7  in the Hillhead/Waterside area of Kirkintilloch.

He has not been seen since and there are concerns for his welfare, prompting Police Scotland to launch an appeal for information about his whereabouts.

James is described as 5ft 8ins tall, heavy build, with long brown hair tied in a ponytail.

James was known to be wearing a blue jacket, black and white shirt, dark blue jeans and brown boots. He may be wearing a dark-coloured beanie hat.

Anyone with information is asked to contact 101, quoting incident 3952 of 7 February.

UPDATE: James McPhee has been traced safe.
