Concern growing for missing woman last seen wearing pyjamas near Scots river

Police are concerned about the whereabouts of a woman who was last seen wearing pyjamas near a Scots river.

The lady, described as being in her mid-20s, was last spotted near the River Don at Seaton Park in Aberdeen.

Cops are appealing for information after the young woman was seen at around 3.40pm yesterday (Sunday) afternoon.

She has strawberry blonde hair and was wearing a sheepskin coat and white pyjama bottoms, with white shoes.

Following concerns from a member of the public, officers searched the area but are yet to locate her.

Searches have continued towards the Bridge of Don and university, as well as the river itself.

Inspector Chris Kerr said: “Given the clothing the woman was said to be wearing and the adverse weather, there are naturally concerns for her wellbeing.

“We are asking anyone who has seen her to please contact police. Or if you believe you are the woman in question, please come forward and identify yourself to officers.”

On Monday Police Scotland told the Daily Record they are continuing enquiries today.

Anyone with information should contact police on 101, quoting incident 2088 of 13 December.
