'Concern' growing for missing teenager last seen in Cumbernauld

Police in Cumbernauld say they are 'concerned' for a missing teenager's wellbeing who has not been seen since Saturday evening.

Officers are appealing for information to help trace 19-year-old Faith Thomson.

Faith was last seen on Braehead Road in the town around 8.30pm on Saturday July 17.

The 19-year-old is described as white, around 5”4, with shoulder length blonde hair.

She was last seen wearing a black flower patterned dress, with black Doc Martin style boots and was carrying an orange holdall and a white carrier bag.

Police are urging anyone who has seen her, or who may have information on her whereabouts, to get in touch.

Inspector John O’Neill from Cumbernauld Police Office said: “We are concerned for Faith’s wellbeing and want to ensure she is safe.

“Anyone who thinks they may have seen Faith is urged to contact us via 101 quoting reference number 0266 of 18 July.”
